Product Care
Natural stone is timeless, durable, and built to last, but like any heirloom-quality material, it thrives with a little care. To keep your piece looking its best, regularly wipe down surfaces with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and spills. Use a pH-neutral cleaner designed for stone, as harsh chemicals can strip the surface, and for polished finishes, a microfiber cloth will help maintain the natural sheen.
To protect your furniture, always use coasters and placemats to prevent water rings and heat marks. Acidic substances like citrus, vinegar, and wine should be kept away from the surface, as they can cause etching. If placing objects on your stone, felt pads will help prevent scratches.
If spills occur, blot them immediately rather than wiping, which can spread the stain. Oil-based stains can be lifted with mild dish soap and warm water, while tougher stains may benefit from a baking soda paste left overnight.
For long-term care, periodic sealing adds an extra layer of protection against stains. Avoid dragging heavy objects across the surface to prevent chips and scratches.
